The Regent Academy (TRA) is a Christian, a la carte learning community serving students in grades 2–12. We meet on Tuesdays at Metro Life Church for a 32-week school year, providing a steady rhythm for families who want rigorous classes within a supportive, faith-shaped environment. All instruction is offered from a biblical worldview, uniting strong academics with formation of character and love for Christ.
Our course lineup spans core subjects for middle and high school—math, science, history, and language arts—along with elementary offerings and electives. Because classes are a la carte, you register only for what your student needs; there’s no minimum number of courses required. This flexibility lets families tailor an academic plan that complements their homeschool at home while benefiting from expert instruction and a shared campus day.
Tuesdays are designed for learning and community. Teachers, students, and approved parent volunteers are on site; parents are not required to remain on campus during classes. Study Hall is available each period (registration required), and families help keep TRA thriving by volunteering to supervise study hall during the year—an approach that builds community and keeps costs accessible.
TRA emphasizes qualified, mission-aligned educators. Not all teachers are state-certified, but each brings the education and experience suited to their subject area and a heart for discipling students. Instruction aims for clarity, challenge, and care—encouraging students to think deeply, communicate well, and apply what they learn.
While we partner closely with families, TRA is not a covering and is not an accredited school. We exist to support your homeschool with high-quality courses, consistent expectations, and a campus day that students look forward to each week.
